What does it mean to distribute your press release? This is a frequent question and the source of much confusion. In this video, I explain that there are two basic types of #pressreleasedistribution. There distribution/syndication, such as what you get with #prnewswire or #businesswire. Then, there is media outreach, which involves submitting your press release to reporters who might want to write about your news. These are quite different processes.
